Damien St John is a multi-skilled broadcaster with major market experience and a flair for for both the creative and the analytic. With almost twenty years in the radio industry,
Damien's career began at Heart 106.2 in London before becoming a full-time breakfast presenter at Island FM on Guernsey. Two years later, Damien moved to Red Dragon FM in South Wales where he hosted the coveted late night show. In 2006, Damien joined the team at Leicester Sound to present the daytime show, drive-time show and then the breakfast show with Naomi Kent which achieved an eight-year ratings high.
When Leicester Sound became Capital FM in 2011 Damien moved to BBC Leicester where he covered a range of shows including rolling news and lifestyle programmes before launching his own successful weekend panel show.
In 2013, Damien joined the Celador Radio team, moving to Southampton to host the networked evening show on The Breeze. Damien is currently Celador's weekday Breakfast presenter on Sam FM South Coast and Thames Valley alongside Jules Mayne.
Damien has also provided DJ and event host services for a wide range of companies including Leicester City FC, England Netball Association, clothes retailer Mango, Wightlink Ferries, Fontwell Park Racecourse, Cardiff City Council, Winchester Business Awards, Manilla nightclub in Leicester and KR's nightspot on South Wales's finest beauty spot, Barry Island.
